In today's modern society, it is critical to keep the inside of your body as clean as the outside, if not cleaner.
Environmental pollution is major contributing factor in the importance of internal detoxification.
Every day, you are exposed to thousands of chemicals in the air you breathe, the water you drink, the food you
eat, and in the products you bathe in or use on your skin. The EPA estimates that, in one year, the amount of toxins dumped
into the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the water we drink was equivalent to loading 18-wheelers full of toxins and
placing them end to end. The line would go from Los Angeles CA., to Des Moines, Iowa. This represents the amount of toxins
that are contaminating everything around you in any given year.
Of the 70,000 chemical being used commercially in the United States, the EPA considers 65,000 of them to be
potentially --if not definitely --hazardous to your health. And that's not all. More than 6,000 new chemicals are being tested
in the U.S. every week!
So where are these chemicals ending up? In the air you breathe, the water you drink, and the food you eat. All
of these toxins begin to accumulate, causing your body's metabolism, intestines, and bowels to slow down, leading to constipation
and less than one bowel
movement a day. This means that your body is literally marinating in chemicals, toxins, and spoiled food for days on
end. In short you are auto-intoxicating.
What is Internal Detoxification?
Internal detoxification is an ongoing process that our bodies perform on a daily basis.
Our metabolic processes continuously encounter and dispose of a variety of toxins and poisons. Some are cellular waste materials
of our own making, toxic by-products of metabolism. Others consist of environmental
pollutants, pesticides and poisons ingested into our systems through the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the water
we drink.
Under ideal circumstances the body is well equipped to neutralize and dispose of those toxins through the liver, spleen, and eliminative channels (bowel, kidneys, lungs, skin,
and lymphatic system).
Proper Digestion & Elimination
Proper digestive and eliminative functions entails having 2 to 3 good bowel movements
per day. Most people are not aware of this, and go through their daily lives eliminating once a day, once every other
day, or less.
Infants are a perfect example. Ask any mother for proof—a baby will eat and immediately eliminate.
Their new digestive systems
have not had time to develop the mal-absorption problems caused by improper diet, environmental toxins and stress.
Faulty digestion and elimination develop in an individual through the years of improper lifestyle and dietary habits.
When we are not eliminating properly, wastes may not be expelled for days, weeks, months or years. When we
don't eliminate our wastes, toxins backup in the colon, which can cause autointoxication, or self poisoning.
This occurs when the bowel walls become encrusted with un-eliminated fecal matter, creating a "catch 22" situation. Not only
does this toxic material hamper the absorption of vital nutrients through the intestinal wall and provide a breeding
ground for unhealthy bacteria, but it also causes the blood capillaries lining the intestinal wall to begin absorbing
these toxins into the bloodstream, consequently polluting all of our organs. This autointoxication lowers our
overall feeling of health and vitality.
"Every tissue is fed by the blood, which is supplied by the intestinal system. When the intestines are dirty, the blood is
dirty, and so are the organs and tissues. It is the intestinal system that has to be cared for first before any effective
healing can take place." Dr Bernard Jensen,
Ph.D.
The chart below illustrates the importance of how health and sickness have their roots in the colon. It is easy
to see how an improper diet affects your colon and in turn, inflicts pain or discomfort on the other parts of the body. Pocketing
and buildup of waste materiel in various areas of the colon will affect those areas of the body indicated on the chart.
Thus, asking if you should cleanse would be like asking your auto
mechanic if you ever need to change the oil in your car?
Signs Of A Toxic Colon
Some of the more obvious signs of an unhealthy digestive tract include: constipation, stomach bloat, poor digestion, gas, fatigue, weight gain, excessive mucous, arthritis, poor skin,
poor memory, lower backache, depression, body odor, bad breath, etc. Each of these symptoms has the potential to be alleviated through cleansing
techniques.
When sufferers finally visit a physician they usually relate a history of one or more of the following complaints
that go back years: constipation, coated tongue, fetid breath, shallow complexion, dark
circles under the eyes, abnormal body odor, cold hands and feet,
blood pressure up or down, brittle nails and hair, sagging posture, tension,
fatigue, allergies, indigestion, menstrual problems, swelling of legs, asthma, backache, and loss of memory or concentration.
On page 134 of his book Natural Cures, Mr. Trudeau writes
"we know that the causes of all disease are (1) too many toxins in the body, (2) nutritional
deficiencies, (3) electromagnetic chaos, and (4) stress. Therefore we must address each of these areas on how to achieve
(a) no toxins in the body, (b) no nutritional deficiencies, (c) no electromagnetic chaos. and (d) no stress. "
Mr. Trudeau goes on to say...."Here are the specific recommendations. Doing these things will turn your body's
pH from acid to alkaline. Doing these things will create a state in the body of balance known as homeostasis.
Doing these things, in my opinion, will prevent virtually all illness and disease from occurring and CURE you from every illness
and disease."

"Get 15 Colonics in 30 Days. "Getting a series of 15 colonics over a thirty-day period is one of the most important first steps in cleansing and detoxifying your body. Most people lose between 3 & 15 pounds simply by doing this procedure.
Your hair, skin and nails begin to radiate and glow with health. Your energy levels can sky rocket, depression, stress, anxiety
and fatigue are usually dramatically reduced or eliminated. Food cravings
are reduced or vanish completely. |
